More Information

There are several additional items that are needed to complete your application to the Nursing Program.  For a full checklist of items, please visit the Nursing Program Admission Requirement webpage.

  • Personal Essay - Explain why you have chosen to pursue a career in nursing, your career goals as a nurse and qualities that you bring to the profession of nursing. You may include an explanation of circumstances not fully described elsewhere in the application, which may deserve consideration of the admissions committee, e.g. less than optimal performance in a particular course/semester.

  • Three Letters of Recommendation - Recommender will need to fill out a recommendation form. Forms should be sent to Elizabeth Rall directly from the recommender via email, fax or mail.  If the student brings in the recommendation form, it should be in a sealed envelope with the signature of the recommender across the back flap. The recommendation forms can be found on the Nursing Application Checklist on the Nursing Program Admission Requirement webpage.

  • Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS-V) - Applicants are required to take the TEAS-V test and send the results to Concordia University Texas.

Your application will not be considered to be complete until all documents are received by the Department of Nursing.
